Mini-golf heading for Westfield

A new entertainment concept – Puttshack – a mini-golf bar – is to open at Westfield London.

From the team behing similar concept bars like Bounce (table tennis), Topgolf, and All Star Lanes (bowling), Puttshack claims to be a “World’s First” social entertainment concept, using “ground-breaking patented technology to catapult the traditional game of minigolf into a cutting edge gaming phenomenon”.

With technology facilitating automatic point scoring, cheating may well be harder. It will also allow live leader-boards.

Puttshack’s first site will occupy 20,000 sq ft of Westfield London’s £600m expansion.

It will feature four interactive nine hole courses in the 750-capacity venue, which will also boast a rum bar and restaurant.

Adam Breeden, CEO of Social Entertainment Ventures, said: “It has been our ambition to create the best mini-golf experience in the world and we believe Puttshack delivers just that.

“In addition to this awesome tech, we have fused a best-in-class food and beverage offer with stunning design to create the most immersive social entertainment experience yet. We are really excited to be a part of the new expansion at Westfield London and look forward to opening two further sites within the next twelve months.”
