Merle’s Court gets public art on hoardings

The South Kilburn public art programme has produced some striking new hoardings around the former Texaco petrol station site, now to be called Merle's Court.

The site, being redeveloped to provide 50 new homes by Catalyst, will be neamed after longtime local resident Merle Barriteau, who was present with the Mayor of Brent, Cllr. Aslam Choudry, at the official "opening" of the new hoardings, which display poetry by local artists produced through the "South Kilburn Speaks" programme.
