Boris Johnson has decided not to intervene in the row over the Ark Academy in Wembley.
A statement from his office said A spokesman for the Mayor said: "Following additional information provided by the applicant which addressed the Mayor's original concerns he has decided that he is content to let Brent Council determine the application itself and not to direct refusal."
Brent Council have already approved the plans, and were happy that the Mayor had decided to let their decision stand. Protesters, who are quite vocal, vowed to continue their fight to stop the development through the courts.
