Lots Road plans approved

Hutchison Whampoa’s plans for a redevelopment of the Lots Road power station site have been approved.

The plans, designed by Farrells, for the Chelsea Creek site will deliver 297 homes, together with a riverside walk and other amenities. The scheme will refurbish and convert the redundant power station, as well as produce ten new buildings, with a 25-storey tower (in RB Kensington and Chelsea). These plans replace an existing permission for a 382 home development.

The scheme has been designed to meet with Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

DP9 handled planning. See previous coverage.
