London Green progresses Brentford plans

London Green is working towards submitting plans for a 300 home redevelopment of the Brentford Police Station site.

The development would also include a new home for Watermans Arts Centre.

Getwestlondon reports London Green plan to open consultation on designs soon, with a view to a planning submission in autumn 2016.

The plans will involve the demolition of the 13-storey police station on Half Acre, as well as the current Watermans Arts Centre and the neighbouring office block on the High Street. They will be replaced by a mixed use development providing office and retail space, and a new marina as well as the homes.
