Quintain has signed LK Bennett, the fashion brand, to its London Designer Outlet, bringing it up to 52% let a year ahead of opening.
LK Bennett will occupy a 1900 sq ft unit on a 10 year lease. It follows Max Studio, Guess and Superdry, all of which have committed to taking space at the centre in the past few months.
Phil Cottingham, Head of Retail at Quintain, said: “LK Bennett is one of Britain’s premier fashion brands boasting a strong international profile, and will therefore appeal to both the primary catchment and the thousands of tourists that visit Wembley every year. It is a great addition to the line-up at LDO and we are delighted to have them on board.”
A spokeswoman for LK Bennett said: “The LK Bennett brand is rooted in London, and as a result we are excited to be part of LDO which we believe will become one of the city’s most popular retail destinations.”
London Designer Outlet (LDO) will be the first designer outlet centre inside the M25, and is currently under construction at Wembley and due to open in autumn 2013.
It is now 52% let with anchor retailers including Nike, Gap, Clarks and Marks & Spencer, and restaurants including Prezzo, Handmade Burger Co, Las Iguanas and TGI Fridays. The 350,000 sq ft centre will also include a new nine-screen Cineworld seating up to 1,800 people. LDO is located adjacent to Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena and a new four star Hilton hotel which opened in July.
