Linden have finally gained permission to build a 154 home development in Iselworth, after three planning applications and a Public Inquiry.
The development in Thornbury Road, designed by John Thompson & Partners, had provoked a lot of local resistance, and Councillors rejected three successive applications saying the deelopment on the Campion House site was inappropriate and overcrowded.
David Pavett, of the Campion Concerns Monitoring Group, a local campaign group, told the Hounslow Guardian: To be honest, the third application was not too bad, the first one was terrible and would have been a blight on the area but this application showed a lot of thought.”
Lindon have already contacted the group, says the report, to ask for their input into the development.
A Linden Homes spokesman said: Linden Homes are pleased to have won the appeal and look forward to bringing forward plans for this important site.
