LBHF sells Irish Centre

The Irish Cultural Centre has bought its building from LB Hammersmith & Fulham.

The council put the building, in Blacks Road, up for sale along with a number of other underused assets last year. The Irish centre has now raised the £1.5m required, reports the Hammersmith Chronicle, and has agreed to buy the building.

The building will be re-developed with a community facilities on the lower floors and flats on the upper floors.
