Laura Ashley may leave Fulham, moving to Milton Keynes to cut costs.
The retailer is looking at shifting from its office in Fulham to a site next to an English Partnerships site where it is in trying to set up a UK distribution hub, according to Property Week.
The retailer is in negotiations with Frontier Estates to buy Celestia, a 310,000 sq ft warehouse near Milton Keynes, for its new UK distribution hub.
Laura Ashley is understood to have agreed to pay around £70/sq ft for the newly built shed, which is double the size of its existing base in Bardon, Leicestershire.
In exchange, Frontier will buy the 170,000 sq ft Bardon shed for around £59/sq ft.
