Land swap in Ealing could free land for development

Ealing Council and the local health trust are planning a land swap which could lead to a sale of surplus land for development.

Ealing have agreed to swap land on Jubilee Gardens with the PCT, who will open a new Health Centre there next month. The Council will take charge of the former library site, neighbouring the new Health Centre. The swap will gives the Council control over Jubilee Gardens, and allow Ealing NHS Trust to build a health centre on Southfields Recreation Ground in Acton.

It’s understood that LB Ealing could look at selling surplus land in Jubilee Gardens for development.
