Navin Shah took the Brent & Harrow seat in the London Assembly elections from Conservative incumbent Bob Blackman in the London Assembly Election.
Shah is the Leader of the Labour Group in Harrow, and by profession is an architect.
Meanwhile, Ealing & Hillingdon stayed Conservative, Richard Barnes increasing his majority to almost 30,000 vote, or 20%.
Overall, the two exclusively West London GLA seats voted for Boris, by a margin of 25,000 votes, or around 10% of votes cast.
West Central (contains Hammersmith & Fulham) stayed resolutely blue – Kit Malthouse winning for the Tories by over 50,000 votes – as did South West (contains Hounslow) where Conservative Tony Arbour held his seat.
