Labour “reviewing Heathrow expansion policy”

The Labour Party has said it is reviewing its policy on expansion at Heathrow, and the third runway they approved while in government.

While this is not saying the Party will be opposed to Heathrow expansion, it is a change from their previous position. BAA have said there needs to be expansion of capacity in the South East to allow London to continnue its pre-eminence among european cities, while anti-expansion campaigners are claiming the Labour policy review as a victory.
