Barratt London and Hyde Homes have had their plans for a 1,226 home development on the site of the former Kodak factory in Wealdstone approved.

Eastman Village phase III will include 472 affordable homes and a 60-bedroom care home, on a 10-acre piece of land at Harrow View East. It means the total number of homes on the fomrer factory site will be 2,036, with 810 homes already approved for phases one and two.

Barratt and Hyde bought the 30-acre site with outline planning consent from Land Securities in 2017. Persimmon and L&Q have also acquired parts of the site and are building the first two phases.
