Kodak could help deliver Harrow housing vision

The Land Securities redevelopment of the Kodak site in Wealdstone could be part of providing 2500 new homes in the Heart of Harrow

The consultation continues on the plans for the 57 acre site. Following one recent public exhibition, Stephen Neal, from Land Securities, talking about the intensification area encompassing the Kodak site, Wealdstone town centre and the Station Road corridor, told the Harrow Times: “This area of intensification encompasses the Kodak site, as well as large parts of Wealdstone, Harrow town centre and the Station Road corridor and envisages the creation of 2,500 new homes across this whole area, along with 3,000 new jobs, in the period up to 2026.”

The vision for the Wealdstone town centre area, and Station Road corridor – christened the Heart of Harrow by the council – aiming to deliver these jobs and homes across the intensification area is presently out to consultation.
