Knock down chimneys, make £470m

A report by EC Harris suggests knocking down the iconic chimneys at Battersea Power Station would make the site worth £470m more.

The report, covered by Construction News, and produced for Reuters says that a development which includes retaining the smoke stacks will require £470m of upfront funding with no return inside two to three years.
