King Street Developments have said they plan to reduce the height of the towers planned for their regeneration of western King Street.
The Hammersmith Chronicle reports that King Street Developments, a joint venture between Helical Bar and Grainger, will reduce the height of the towers in the scheme after Hammersmith & Fulham Council told them they would require less office space in the scheme. The Council will get a replacement for the Town Hall extension space in the scheme at no cost to the public purse.
Calling the changes ‘significant’, King Street Developmment told the Chronicle: “The council’s acceptance of a smaller office building allows us to consider a number of important design changes in response to the consultation, without affecting the viability of the scheme.”
