Kier get Ram job

Kier has been chosen as preferred bidder to build the £170m first phase of the Ram Brewery redevelopment.

Phase one of The Ram Quarter includes 411,000 sq ft of new housing and retail space in nine blocks up to ten storeys, and the 56,000sq ft refurbishment of the Grade II listed brewery, which will be converted in to new homes, restaurants and retail, with a micro-brewery and museum.

Phase one also includes the realignment of the River Wandle which will open up public access and a new riverside walk.

Also on the project are project managers Gardiner & Theobald, architects EPR and engineers WSP Group.
