The Greater London Authority have thrown their weight behind the Capital West London Growth Summit by confirming not one, but two Deputy Mayor speakers.
Hundreds of West London’s key stakeholders will gather at The Drum at Wembley, on October 30 for the agenda-setting conference.
The inaugural Growth Summit will hear a wide range of debate on topics affecting the future of the area.
The Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration & Skills, Jules Pipe will kick off the day with a key-note speech on why West London is so important to the GLA and how the area plays a vital role in the overall growth and prosperity of the capital.
The audience will then go on to hear a packed schedule of engaging debate and discussions.
Deputy Mayor for Transport, Heidi Alexander will be part of the Stronger Connections panel, looking at the sub-region’s unrivalled transport connections, and how they are set to improve further with a string of planned major infrastructure projects, including Crossrail, HS2 and the West London Orbital.
With huge regeneration projects at Wembley Park, White City, Brent Cross and Old Oak Common creating thousands of new homes and jobs, delegates will hear more about the overall impact they will have on West London’s economy.
Culture, international trade and the fast-growing knowledge economy will also be covered throughout what promises to be an enthralling day.
