Isleworth development gets green light for 23 more homes

FRT Developments intend to create a “thriving residential community” in Isleworth after getting the go-ahead for an additional 23 apartments at 71 St Johns Road.

The office to residential conversion will deliver a total of 51 new homes after national property consultancy, Carter Jonas, secured planning permission from Hounslow Council on behalf of FRT. The new planning allows for the erection of a two-storey extension to the roof and rear of the building to accommodate the additional apartments.

Ed Marsh, co-founder of FRT Developments, said: “We specialise in creating small to medium-sized developments in locations with good transport links to appeal to young professionals.

“We look for underutilised sites that we can breathe new life into, which could mean converting existing buildings from commercial use or designing a new building that fits into a small brownfield site.

“In this way, developments like 71 St Johns Road can have a positive impact on the number of new homes needed around London and provide an accessible price point for buyers.”

The apartments will be available with Help To Buy.
