Frendcastle have lost a planning appeal for a proposed development in Hanwell.
The planned thee-block five-storey 121 home development on the former Booker warehouse site on Belvedere Road was refused permission by LB Ealing, the third time Frendcastle have had an application for the site turned down.
Frendcastle will once again return with a revised application, Director Bill Bailey told the Ealing Gazette: “We are partly disappointed but also pleased that a decision has clarified what can and can’t be done with the site and that represents good progress. We have already started developing a further application which is housing led and that is clearly much more popular with local people. We will now work that up in light of the comments that we have received and will present this to local residents early next year.”
