Countryside Properties and Annington Developments are to break ground on phase one of their Inglis Barracks scheme.
In total the project will provide 2,174 new homes, as well as a new primary school and community facilities. It will be built in eleven phases.
Phase one on the Drew Avenue site will provide 133 new homes.
