Fullers are to put the site of the Plough Pub in Northolt up for sale, while locals make the point they want their pub back with an inflatable copy.
The pub, in Mandeville Road, was destroyed by fire a year ago, and new Fullers have decided to put the site on the market rather than rebuild. Mike Clist, Operations Director for Fuller’s, told the Uxbridge Gazette: “The pub had been struggling for some time and we could find no compelling evidence to suggest to us that the situation was likely to be different if the pub was rebuilt.”
But locals made the point that they want a pub back on the site by recently erecting an inflatable copy for a village party. See the full story.
