IAG launches Hangar 51

International Airlines Group which owns Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, IAG Cargo and Avios, has launched a startup accelerator programme called Hangar 51.

Start-ups can apply to join aiming to create “next generation travel experiences”. The programme aims to support the development of new entrepreneurs to transform the aviation industry and revolutionise customer experience through new technology, products and services.

The ten-week programme is based at IAG’s HQ in London.
