I Love Lunch in Hammersmith returns tomorrow (Saturday 11 May 2019) to celebrate the best lunchtime eateries in Hammersmith town centre. Organised by Hammersmith BID, the annual culinary competition encourages local residents, workers and visitors to explore the wide variety of food options available in Hammersmith.
During 11-25 May 2019, the public will be asked to vote online for their lunchtime food heroes in four categories: Best Pub, Best Restaurant, Best Café and Best On-the-Go.
Now in its eighth year, I Love Lunch helps raise the profile of businesses and encourages local dining as part of the BID’s wider commitment to promoting and invigorating Hammersmith town centre. The winners from each category will be presented with a trophy and certificate, entered into the West London Business Awards and featured in Hammersmith BID marketing throughout 2019.
Last year, 38 businesses took part in the competition and almost 4000 votes were cast, with the Hammersmith Ram, Street Eats, Leon and Coco Di Mama crowned champions. This year, a record-breaking 44 businesses are competing, including Hammersmith newcomers: Abokado, Chez Maiss, Crosstown Doughnuts, Jon Smith Subs, Pure, Taco Bell, Simya Korean and The Cellar at Kindred.
