HUB submits Chesterfield plans

HUB has submitted plans for 239 new homes on the Chesterfield House site in Wembley.

HUB acquired the site in 2015 in partnership with Bridges Ventures.

The plans, designed by Maccreanor Lavington, would produce two blocks rising up to 26 storeys. The shorter 21-storey block would be entirely affordable, with 103 flats offered at discount market rent – 43% of the scheme total.

The plans also aim to improve streetscape and connectivity, and a new colonnade at the corner of Park Lane and Wembley High Road would aim to “help alleviate the pavement pinch-point” caused by the current building.

HUB would also provide a new community centre on the ground floor of the shorter block. Commercial space is planned for the ground floor of the taller block.
