Hounslow plan to freeze Council Tax again

LB Hounslow plan to freeze Council Tax for a fourth year running.

Cllr Peter Thompson, leader of the council, set out the plans at the Borough Council onĀ 24 November. This is the first time the council has set out spending plans so far in advance of the final decision, which will be taken in March 2010. It follows LB Hammersmith & Fulham announcing they would be reducing their Council Tax by 3% for a fourth year running earlier this month.

Cllr Thompson said: “We have fallen from having the fifth highest level of council tax in London, to fifteenth”.
