Hounslow faces population pressure

Hounslow’s population could grow by 25% in the next twenty years.

The forecast was revealed by the retiring Chief Executive of the Council, Mark Gilks, who feels that despite the forecast saying the population could grow from 240,000 to 300,000 in just two decades, and the third highest borth rate in London, the Borough is well prepared.

He told the Hounslow Chronicle that the BSF school building programme would prepare the Borough well for a surge in school place demand.
