Hounslow consults on Town Centre

LB Hounslow has put its town centre SPD out to consultation.

Following the approval of the masterplan for Hounslow Town Centre last month, the council has drafted its Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) which sets out in detail the council’s vision for the town centre, as well as design principles for future developments, and guidance for determining future planning applications in the area.

Cllr Ruth Cadbury, cabinet member for regeneration, said: “By setting out clearly what it is we expect to see built in the town centre, these will show developers what we are trying to achieve, encourage them to the area, and make it easier for them to plan schemes in keeping with the vision for the town.”
