Hounslow consults on Lampton Road

Hounslow Council is consulting on proposed improvements to Lampton Road, which leads from the town centre to its current civic centre site.

The Council is proposing measures including a 20mph zone, decluttering of pavements, improved pedestrian crossing facilities and additional raised junctions, widening and resurfacing footways, improving bus stops by providing seating and TfL Countdown where possible, improving lighting on Hounslow Central Bridge, and additional trees and cycle parking.

The council has proposed redeveloping its present civic centre site on Lampton Road is over 800 homes.

The consultation closes on Friday 2 October.
