Hounslow Council is giving local businesses the chance to share their views on its budget for the next financial year.
The council is holding two separate business breakfast meetings, where local businesses can hear from senior councillors and officers on 13 and 20 January.
Cllr Jagdish Sharma, leader of the London Borough of Hounslow said: “The council has to save £12 million for the next financial year, as the government has substantially reduced the amount of money it gives us. We want the thoughts of local entrepreneurs and business leaders about how we should make savings to ensure we spend the money we have in the most efficient way possible.”
“As a council we do not have any say about how the local business rate is spent, but the services we provide still have an impact on local businesses. They are the lifeblood of any economy and it is vital that we know how to harmonise with local trade and industry.”
