HLF gives Hogarth cash

Hounslow Council have secured funding for improvements to the grounds of Hogarth House.

The £90,000 Heritage Lottery Fund grant will be spent developing plans for a learning space and remodelled gardens at Hogarth House, on Great West Road, Chiswick, which is now a museum commemorating artist William Hogarth and other residents of the House.

Hounslow Council was given the green light to work up the detail of the project after a successful first-round application to the Heritage Lottery Fund, following initial planning and design work for the project, funded by the William Hogarth’s Trust.
