Hindu School looks at site in Harrow

The foundation who backed the countries first Hindu primary school is looking at a site in Harrow for a secondary school. The school would be the first Hindu scondary school in the UK.

I-Foundation, who backed the Krishna Avanti Primary School in Camrose Avenue, Edgware – the country’s first state-funded Hindu primary school – has said it wants to create a similar project for older children.

Nitesh Gor, director of the charity and a governor at the primary school, told the Harrow Observer two privately-owned sites were being explored, one in the borough of Harrow and one in Barnet. Mr Gor said the aim would be to open a four or possibly six form entry secondary in September 2015.
