Henley has bought two linked sites in Fulham and plans to build a 300-home development on the Thames riverfront, as well as re-introducing a working wharf to allow waterborne logistics.
The sites lie on the riverfront next to Wandsworth Bridge. A previous consent for a mixed-use development has now lapsed.
Warwick Hunter, Henley’s Managing Director, Development and Asset Management, said: “Our control of the two previously unaligned sites means that we can take both through planning as a combined plot, initiating planning works vital for the development of a residential scheme at this riverside location.
“The design team has now been assembled, with work for a major application kicking off in October, and we look forward to engaging with key local stakeholders throughout 2021 on this important site. We are also delighted to be working alongside the PLA to reintroduce the working wharf and promote waterborne logistics, freeing up lorry movement and congestion from London’s roads.”
