The proposed sale of the land formerly used by Hendon Football Club to a housing developer has been put on hold pending a review by Barnet Council.
The council had planned to sell to developer Montclare for redevelopment as housing, but after the intervention of a councillor, they have put the plan on hold to review whether there are any restrictive covenants preventing the sale of the land for any purpose other than football.
