Heathrow has posted its busiest ever June, helped by travel to the World Cup, with more than 7 million passengers passing through.
This was 5.4% up on June 2017.
On June 26th Heathrow saw a 50% increase in the number of passengers travelling to Russia, compared to the same time last year, as fans travelled out for the football, while Africa saw the most passenger growth in June (+11.3%), closely followed by South Asia (+11%) and Latin America (+9.2%).
Over 139,000 metric tonnes of cargo passed through Heathrow in June.
