Hayes shopkeepers have soaked up the recent carnival atmosphere, and used it to inspire a revamp of their shopfronts, to brighten up the town and entice more shoppers to enter their stores.
The carnival-themed revamp has been designed to boost business as part of Hillingdon Council’s town centre improvement scheme. International Visual equipped the 21 stores in Hayes with savvy window dressing and interior merchandising and design skills, for the second phase of training, over a two week period in July.
Drawing inspiration from the recent carnival procession, all the traders channelled their talents and training into producing a set of vibrant, creative and innovatively designed shop fronts.
Businesses in Ruislip and Northwood Hills may also be eligible for a grant of up to £4,800 to improve their shopfronts, thanks to a successful bid by Hillingdon Council from the Mayor of London.
