Harrow tops price rise chart

Harrow is the west London borough where house prices have risen most quickly over the past year, according to a recent report.

Analysis from property analyst Kate Faulkner puts Harrow at the top of the west London chart, with a rise of 18.2% in the year to February 2015. But this put it just sixth in London overall, behind top placed Newham, as well as Lambeth, Waltham Forest, Lewisham and Greenwich.

Ealing was second in the west, posting 17.9% growth, with Hillingdon (17.1%), Hammersmith & Fulham (15.8%), Hounslow (15.2%), Barnet (15.0%), Brent (15.0%), and Wandsworth (13.8%) still all above the Greater London Average of 13.1%.
