Harrow Council has approved plans for three new schools – including a new secondary school in Wealdstone.
Whitefriars Primary School, in Whitefriars Avenue, Wealdstone, will now add a three storey secondary school to its site to allow it to become an all-through school, catering for pupils from the age of five to 18 and more than 700 extra pupils.
The council also approved two other expansions, at Earlsmead Primary School in Arundel Drive, South Harrow, and West Lodge Primary School, in West End Lane, Pinner.
