Harrow recommend Barnet FC refusal

Officers at Harrow Council have recommended refusal of Barnet FCs planning application to make changes to its training ground at The Hive in Camrose Avenue.

The recommendation centres on the impact the floodlights could have on neighbours, with officers feeling the applicant has not shown there will be no harm to the amenities of neighbouring properties.

The football club moved from Underhill during the summer after they failed to agree a new leave for the Barnet Council owned ground. They used an extant permission to build a 5,176 capacity ground at the Hive, but still want to extend the stands upwards, and install new floodlights.
