Harrow look at Sports Hub

Harrow Council is looking at establishing a Sports Hub at Hatch End as part of a £2m investment plan.

Sports pitches across the borough will be revamped over the next ten years under an investment programme of approximately £2m due for approval by Harrow Council’s Cabinet next week.

Highlights of the investment programme include a major opportunity to create a ‘sports hub’ at Bannister Stadium in Uxbridge Road, Hatch End. The stadium would get higher quality sports pitches and a new sports training area.

There are also proposals to substantially upgrade the pitches at Headstone Manor Recreation Ground and Kenton Recreation Ground as well as improvements to the changing rooms.
