Councillor Keith Ferry Portfolio holder for Regeneration and Planning launched the “Invest Harrow” promotional film to developers, businesses, and key stakeholders at the Mumbai Gardens in Headstone Lane. The Invest Harrow film is, say the council, a fast-paced introduction to Harrow’s cultural and business offer, illustrating why Harrow is such a popular place to live, work and invest.
It shows how Harrow’s access to markets, entrepreneurial culture, highly skilled workforce, excellent transport connections, and vibrant diverse cultural offer can contribute to investment success.
The film was produced as part of a wider a Council-led campaign to promote economic growth, supporting job growth.
Commenting on the DVD Councillor Ferry, Portfolio holder for Planning and Regeneration, said: “The film is an important milestone in achieving our aim of attracting investment to the borough. The key message here is that ‘Harrow Means Business’.
“We want to work co-operatively with partners to take decisions, get results that improve our Borough, and create new jobs and opportunities. Our aim is to get investors to see Harrow as a place with excellent infrastructure and opportunities, and as a place with a real commitment to making things happen.”
The film was produced in partnership with Gateway Asia through the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund to promote High Streets.
