A historic gantry in Harrow-on-the-Hill could be renewed & replaced.
The site near the Kings Head has had a wooden gantry construction, rather like a hangman’s gibbet, for many years, possibly since the pub was established in the 1500s. Now the Harrow Hill Trust wants to replace the present 1970s built version, and give the location a tourism boost.
