Harlesden Hub launches with advice services and activities

The newly launched Harlesden Hub, based in Harlesden Library, has been officially opened by the Mayor of Brent.

Cllr Muhammed Butt, Leader of Brent Council, said: “Brent Council is delighted to be working with great partners like Crisis Harlesden, Brent Advice Partnership and Harlesden Neighbourhood Forum to provide this incredibly useful service which we know residents want and are keen to use, as a result of the successful trial last year. Over 30 local voluntary sector organisations, community groups and individuals were involved in running the trial.

“If you have any queries relating to housing, employment or benefits, then pop along as there will be a number of advisers ready to help you. We’ll also be running a range of community activities, so look out for more information and do get in touch if you are a local group or individual who would like to offer an event or activity at the Harlesden Hub.”
