LB Hammersmith & Fulham may look to cut into Wormwood Scrubs when redeveloping the Network Rail land at the North of the park.
It was reported in Estates Gazette last Friday that the Council have been discussing the former North Pole Depot, which ceased to be a Eurostar maintenance depot last year, and parts of adjoining Old Oak Common, part of The Scrubs.
The Council wants to see a major mixed-use development on the site, which would help towards their target of generating 10,000 new homes across the Borough.
This would be the third major development site announced by the Borough in twelve months, following from the CapCo development plans for Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre, and the Office for Metropolitan Architecture designed Creative London north of White City.
