In an attempt to boost trading, LB Hammersmith & Fulham Council has extended its reduced-cost-parking scheme on Askew Road, in Shepherds Bush.
In December of last year, the council decided to reduce the price of parking on part of the road from £2.40 per hour to 20p for half an hour following a consultation with local businesses and residents.
Now the council has promised to extend the reduced charges to another four bays outside numbers 82, 88, 105 and 107 Askew Road. In addition, four new loading bays are to be installed on the nearby Hadyn Park, Cobbold Road, Bassein Park and Gayford Road.
