LB Hammersmith & Fulham is working to get London's proposed International Conference Centre at Earl's Court.
The Council is doing an appraisal to give to the Mayor's office on a £300m centre which would form part of the development on the Capital & Counties owned Earl's Court site, and the Network Rail land behind it.
The Council argues that Earl's Court is a much better location than the other sites rumoured to be in the running – Excel and the O2 Centre – mainly because of its location between Heathrow and the West End.
