Griffin Park plans approved

Detailed plans to build 75 family homes on the site of Griffin Park, Brentford FC’s current stadium, have been approved.

Prime Place, part of Willmott Dixon, are the Club’s development partner for the Griffin Park site.

The plans, which had already been approved in outline, also include a memorial garden honouring the club’s history. The homes will be built once the Bees have moved to their new stadium at Lionel Road South.

There are no affordable homes included in the plans, but conditions allow for an increase in the affordable element of a later phase of the development around the new stadium site. if sales revenues prove larger than forecast.
