The consultation on the Grahame Park regeneration master plan continues.
Officers from Barnet Council, Barnet Homes and the Council’s development partner Genesis Housing Association have run a series of consultation events.
The key changes for the next stage of the development look set to be an increase in the number of family homes and a greater use of traditional streets.
Cllr Richard Cornelius, Leader of Barnet Council, said: “I am delighted to see a greater concentration of family homes and a more traditional street pattern.
“We are committed to transforming Grahame Park, and these homes, following on from the existing work, will provide high quality new homes for residents of the estate.”
The new scheme has been shortlisted by Central Government for a £56 million funding package to bring forward work on the next phase of the development including demolishing the central Concourse area.
