Goodman has started work on the development of two offices at Uxbridge Business Park that will provide over 100,000 sq ft of additional office space.
The two buildings – providing 77,102 sq ft and 27,285 sq ft of net office space respectively – are due to complete in early 2016.
Goodman owns and manages Uxbridge Business Park, which is currently home to Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mondelez International and Amgen.
The two office schemes will offer high quality, efficient open plan office space spread over three storeys and will target a BREEAM rating of Very Good. Both properties will provide car parking at a ratio of 1:40 sqm.
James Raven, Development Director, Goodman UK Business Parks, said: “As the UK economy continues to gather pace, we are seeing an increase in demand for new premium office space, particularly in the Thames Valley, as well as a recognition that having an excellent working environment is the key to attracting and retaining the best staff.
“The development of these two exceptional offices at Uxbridge Business Park is a major investment for the park and the local area. The unique combination of accessibility and proximity to the town centre, together with its impressive landscaped setting, make the park a great place for a range of business customers.”
Located on Sanderson Road, less than a mile from Uxbridge town centre, the park totals 71 acres. Its grounds are fully landscaped and close to a canal.
