Goldhawk plans called in

London & Newcastle’s plans for the Goldhawk Industrial Estate have been called in by the Secretary of State.

The 57-home plans were approved by LB Hammersmith & Fulham, but have now been called in by John Denham for an inquiry. A letter to the council sent on behalf of Communites and Local Government Minsiter John Denham, revealed potential concerns in a number of areas, including the layout, scale, landscaping and appearance of the scheme, the impact it would have, whether it meets guidelines for creating affordable housing and mixed communities, and whether it agrees with the council’s own planning rules, reports the Ealing Gazette.
